王先生早年在津门书画家张兆丰门下学书画。曾受李鹤年、龚旺、慕凌飞、王淑辉的言传。

2019年6月受邀参加中国书画家联谊会新文艺群体书画家工作委员会在北京会议中心举办“明德引领风尚挥毫抒写时代——庆祝建国七十周年新文艺群体书画家座谈会”。

由于工作缘由，书画作品面世少。其左右手同书、反正书、盲书作品部分高级首长家皆有过收藏，王先生被称赞为“双天官”书坛奇人；双手同书作品、榜书作品中央电视台、教育电视台现场直播过；还有些作品曾选登在中纪委廉政挂历上；被当作国礼送给异国要员的作品如“友谊长存、龙行天下、腾飞”等也不在少数；其它作品有些杂志上亦有登载恕不能尽例。虽然如此，王先生说“决不入江湖之流，做学生，苦读勤学是为本，旨在为人民服务，为发展中华文化而奋斗”。
