程大凝,原平人,毕业于忻州师范学院和山西大学艺术系,曾在原平市文化馆与忻州市群众艺术馆等单位工作,退休于市政府办公厅,又特聘为忻州师院书法教授。四岁随爷爷父亲学习诗书画,七岁入学正式拜师于本村语文老师,每日临贴百余字。后又就读于忻州师范学院和山西大学艺术系,受全省和全国著名书法家姚奠中、段体礼、李孝慈老师书法课的讲授与课外辅导,四十多年在工作中刻腊版上千张,在胶片上书写4毫米戏剧唱词字幕60部近60万字,书写展览的说明及前言近百个,又上万字;书写会标及刷写墙体标语千余条,书写对联上万幅、整日与写字打交道,一生作文书信都是用毛笔书写。退休后又在中书协展览中心培训3次,而且每日授课、培训、临贴、创作不少于12小时,一生临贴200余本,少则两三次,多则超百次,现能熟练书写18种书体,创新仿宋、大黑、粗圆书体已获得国家专利。退休后15年来,参加全国书法大赛300余次,获特等奖、金奖近300多次;获国庆70周年组委会、中宣部、人民日报社、外交部、文化部、中央电视台、中国文联、中国书协、香港书协等百余家单位的聘书近100余本。加上荣誉证书、奖杯、奖牌有400余本(个)。2016年10月中宣部,文化部,人民日报社联合授予“2016年华夏实力派书画名家”;人民日报社评为“艺术界功勋人物”;并在纪念党成立95周年画报评选中获金奖,授予“华人艺圣”;中国党建新闻网评为“国魂”——中国建设功勋人物,并受到习主席“壮志凌云”的荣誉证书。

Cheng Daning, a native of Yuanping, graduated from Xinzhou Normal University and Art Department of Shanxi University, worked in Yuanping cultural center and Xinzhou Mass Art Museum, retired from the general office of the municipal government, and was specially employed as a calligraphy professor of Xinzhou Normal University. At the age of four, he studied poetry, calligraphy and painting with his grandfather and father. At the age of seven, he began to study as a teacher of Chinese in the village. After that, he studied in Xinzhou Normal University and the Art Department of Shanxi University. He was taught and tutored by famous calligraphers Yao Dianzhong, Duan Tili and Li Xiaoci. He has engraved thousands of copies in his work for more than 40 years, wrote 60 pieces of 4 mm drama libretto on film, and wrote nearly 100 and more than 10000 words of the exhibition's explanation and preface He wrote more than 1000 slogans on the wall, wrote tens of thousands of couplets, dealt with writing all day, and wrote all his life with a brush. After retirement, he trained in the exhibition center of China Calligraphy Association for three times, and taught, trained, pasted and created at least 12 hours a day. He posted more than 200 copies in his life, at least two or three times, and more than 100 times. Now he can write 18 kinds of calligraphy styles skillfully. He has obtained national patent for innovation of imitation song, big black and thick round calligraphy. In the past 15 years after retirement, he has participated in more than 300 national calligraphy competitions and won more than 300 special awards and gold awards. He has won nearly 100 letters of appointment from more than 100 units, including the Organizing Committee for the 70th anniversary of the national day, the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, the people's daily, the Ministry of foreign affairs, the Ministry of culture, CCTV, the China Federation of literary and art, the China Calligraphy Association, and the Hong Kong Calligraphy Association. In addition, there are more than 400 copies of certificates of honor, trophies and medals. In October 2016, the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of culture and the people's daily jointly awarded the title of "2016 famous calligrapher and painter of the Chinese strength school"; the editorial evaluation of the people's daily was "meritorious figure in the art circle"; in the selection of the pictorial commemorating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, it was awarded the "national soul" - the meritorious figure of China's construction, and was awarded "lofty ideals" by President Xi Jinping Certificate of honor.

I trained nearly 1000 students and social calligraphy and painting enthusiasts in Xinzhou Teachers College for free. I wrote dozens of free pen meetings for enterprises, units and temples, and got nothing. In recent years, Chinese calligraphy masters Shen Peng, Ouyang Zhongshi and Quan Xijun regard me as their inheritors of calligraphy art. I will certainly live up to the expectations and carry forward the broad masses.
