白如海,1945年生,陕西人。师从李苦禅大师入室弟子申西岚先生。系国家一级美术师,国家友好画院特聘画家;中国美协新疆分会会员,中国书画家协会理事、研究员;中国教育电视台水墨丹青和名家讲堂栏目和央视书画频道签约书画家,中国文化艺术发展促进会会员;陕西省美术馆画师;西安中国画研究院名誉院长。曾在北京、天津、太原、深圳等地举办个展、联展。作品在人民日报、中国书画报等报刊登。作品多次在中国文联、中国书协、美协主办的展赛上入展、获奖;2014年获首届山东国际美术双年展优秀奖等展项。

上法相续功作非凡——记著名书画家白如海

传统书画艺术之技法,非常讲究师徒之间的秘宗相传,是谓“法由师授,功由户出”之论。由是,书画要成造诣,师承何门相当重要。当代著名书画家白如海先生是李苦禅的再传弟子,其师申西岚是李苦禅的入室弟子。白如海画性超人,又有名家授法,所以他的画法亦是正宗一派,起笔落笔可以把笔墨铺陈得游刃有余,无论是作花鸟还是写书法,都有遂心应手可畅志的精气神。一件雄鹰回眸图,非常精妙地体现着李派鹰画形神兼备的造诣!看来白如海学画尽得真传,是一位弘扬师门超能的大手笔!赵子昂有论,书画同源,写竹还需八法通!白如海深谙此论,所以他把习成书法功夫,当成骨法用笔地磐石,先行历练翰墨真谛不遗余力,可以写得诸书皆成,尤善草书的痛快表达!执笔洒脱,落笔自如,笔墨经由心绪驱动,可以写得左蹙右盼如惊电,亦如楚汉相攻战。不但讲究笔法类万物之象,也关注墨法的铺陈变化,笔里有墨,墨里有笔,通篇作品以志在出奇无定则为创作灵魂,以古瘦漓骊半无墨为赏心悦目,可以在一划之间变起伏于锋杪,亦可以在一点之内殊衄挫于毫芒!果然是须臾扫尽数千张,满壁纵横千万字!因为白先生书法历练得相当娴熟,书法可以作出立骨传神的建树,所以他作丹青,就有以书入画的丰富资粮!落笔如凌空杀纸,起笔可见鸾凤徘徊,笔笔到位画风竹,可以对境造意,把竹的生态物象画得惟妙惟肖,也把竹的文化意象画得萧萧峥嵘!其竹有骨、有肉,所以形态源自然,又经过写生视觉经验的提炼,进一步画出了胸中气象。枝摇曳,叶婆娑,竹里有风最有动感!不呆不滞,满满的君子意象,足足的文化格局!把生态竹与文化竹合为一体,当然可以在色不碍墨,墨不碍色的渲染中,成为当代画风竹的第一笔!这就是他法取师门,可以化他法为我创新所用的丹青智慧。师而不拘,自拥一格!凡属贤能,尽皆如是!白先生画风竹,拥有了自己的艺术领地!然而他的画题相当博涉,凡取一物入画,必是泊满东方审美的精气神!善用胭脂水墨画龙梅,最有盛世当歌的大精神!笔作梅枝是谓龙,彩落点染是谓凤,龙凤梅题,既有磅礴之势,也有飞仪之动!成为盛世中国的代言,挂一件在厅堂,当然大振心颜,统摄人心!这就是他的绘画作品有专业水准,亦有审美魅力的重要原因!上法相续,功作非凡。白先生取师门上法,经过春秋不辍的磨砺,得法亦为上乘。浓墨重彩写禅荷,浑厚华滋最悦目!画里是笔墨色彩相得益彰的技法,画外则是留得妙荷觉禅风的文化真谛!能画荷而谙禅者,非匠!是谓笔墨通神的智慧者也!

Bai Ruhai, born in 1945, from Shaanxi. Studied under Master Li Kuchan's disciple Mr. Shen Xilan.
