Jiaxing National High-Tech Zone - A National High-Tech Zone in the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor
2022年11月22日,国务院发函正式批复同意嘉兴秀洲高新技术产业开发区正式更名为嘉兴高新技术产业开发区。更名后,高新区能够打破名称、区域等因素制约,进一步推进体制与机制改革,整合全市创新资源,发挥高能级科创平台的叠加效应,真正将高新区打造成为长三角城市群重要中心城市高能级科创平台和全域创新体系的重要组成部分。
On November 22, 2022, Jiaxing Xiuzhou High-Tech Industrial Development Zone had formally been renamed Jiaxing High-Tech Industrial Development Zone via an official letter issued by the State Council. After the renaming, Jiaxing Hi-Tech Zone can break the constraints of Xiuzhou District area, and further promote the reform of the high-tech zone's system and mechanism. Via integrating the city's innovation resources and giving play to the superimposed effect of high-level scientific and technological innovation platforms, the high-tech zone can truly build a high-level scientific and technological innovation platform in the Yangtze River Delta and become the important part of the overall innovation system.

In 2023, one person was successfully selected for the national talent introduction plan, and 17 new full-time young doctors were introduced, doubling for two consecutive years.
